what's with the friends with benefits?

Okay as a female I do confess that females have a sexual drive we are human and have needs that need to be fulfilled. But tell me about the whole f**k buddy thing. Is it just me or do is this a guys way of getting his cake and eating it too? I mean sex to a girl is never jus sex. Feelings always come into play. When sleeping with someone a woman has to let her guard down let the guy in literally and figuritivly. With guys sex is a more external thing, not as invasivly personal. Okay so I know I may be lynched for seeming sexist but generalisations start somewhere don't they? I am all for healthy sex but how do you handle being with someone but not really being with them, how do you as a woman seperate yoursel from the person and your own feelings? I just want to know how this could work people give me your input.

    Buffy the vampire slayer

Buffy the Vampire Slayer a cult movie turned television series smash hit. The young heroine Buffy imbued with powers to slay the dead but still having to deal with everyday teenage issues. The outcast of high school and the champion of Sunnydale. This TV series is in my opinion responsible for the inspiration of female empowerment in our generation. A role model who is flawed, fragile yet has super strength and a calling from a higher power. Her snappy wit and disastrous romances mixed with social issues like losing your virginity and dealing with divorce and loss, made this inhumanly poweful girl easy to relate to in a very human way. There is one line that stays with me from this series, "Life is fighting everyday". I myself was a Buffy addict and drooled happily over Angel but it is the message of female independence and strength that I am lucky to have been exposed to. The final episode of the show emphasised the impact that this show has had on its female watchers. We are all capable of strength and survival and fighting everyday.

    otters

See photos of otters under 'my bestest friend mel at oz zoo'
Once my dad totally convinced the whole family that he had bought us a real live otter. We went out and bought a bath got quotes for a pond looked up what food to feed him and how to take care of him. We even named him livingston. One day I brought home a very expensive porcelain otter as a gift for my mom. It was at this point that my dad feeling really guilty admitted he had bought a steel otter for next to the pool. Lets just say he wasn't popular.
